As we slowly made our way north and settled into our newest home….our playground for the next week was beautiful. Beautiful horse country in Lexington, KY.
Not only were we in a beautiful area, we ran into some friends who checked into the campground the same day…..Ed & Kelly
When the work week was over, we had to hit the Bourbon Trail Distillery Woodford Reserve. The tour was great, ending with a tasting…Hint order your tickets in advance!
I was never a bourbon fan but, I discovered a recipe I really like. The Woodford Reserve Spire with Ice, Cranberry Juice, Lemonade and Bourbon…Yum.
Kelly shared a new recipe she discovered at Buffalo Trace Distillery with bourbon cream and root beer. It tasted just like a root beer float! It was sooooo good
Our next stop was a Harvest Host Simmons Winery & 450 North Brewery in Columbus, Indiana. Even Snickers had dinner…Brewies treats. The food was great with a beautiful sunset.
Heading north to the Tiffin Allegro Club Rally in Amana, Iowa.
