We spent more than three years planning, purging and downsizing. We continue to savor each step our our journey through life. We sold our house in 2021, then moved into a one bedroom apartment, as we planned our next adventure.
Here are some more details about our journey……..
Simplying our life, we embraced downsizing and stepped into it over time, knowing we were working through our plan. Purging was a process in itself. Over several years we held numerous yard sales, took many trips to donation centers, and a few trips to the dump. We were so happy to find great homes for many special pieces. Some of our more valuable pieces were sold on consignment.
Friends and families were there to help us through the process Believe it or not, we had a lot of fun purging! We loved talking to the people who purchased our treasures. We even had some little helpers.
