St. Augustine, FL

April 30, 2024

We were ready to start heading north. Our first stop was northeast Florida in St. Augustine. The new resort was great nice with many fantastic pull through sites. We actually stayed on a buddie site and had it to ourselves for all but two nights. It was worth paying for the month even through we needed to move along in 20 days.

With the National Park pass we went into the CASTILLO DE SAN MARCOS. A small but mighty fort.

Since we stayed a few weeks, Sian was able to explore this Spanish seaside town. We jumped on an Old Trolley Tour to see and hear about the history of St. Augustine. Pounce De Leon’s Fountain of Youth, the Old Senator Live Oak Tree, Flagler College, Old Colonies Quarters, Lightner Museum, Oldest Store Museum, Potter’s Wax Museum, Villa Zorayda Museum, Oldest Schoolhouse, Oldest House and so much more.

The trolley even came to the St. Augustine RV Resort for pick up and drop off. So convenient. Action packed evenings and weekends to take it all in.
