Disney World

March 31, 2023

Let’s get into more about how we spent March in the Most Magical Place on Earth! Time to take vacation. Come along to see what we squeezed in over a period of two weeks while we stayed at Walt Disney World. Sian took six vacation days and we used these plus weekends to visit all of the Disney parks, including the Blizzard Beach water park. We didn’t want to leave Snickers in the RV every day, so she had some fun days at Best Friends Pet Resort. We are sure she had a blast!

With the Easter Holiday approaching, chocolate eggs created by the Cast Members were the centerpiece of Disney’s Grand Floridian lobby.

The International Flower and Garden Festival was in full swing and we enjoyed park hopping to see all the sights.

From topiaries to the food kiosks, spring is in the air. The weather was beautiful!

We had our first experience at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It was convenient to the parks and we were centrally located on loop 900 across from the Meadow Training Post.

Internal buses brought us to the Outpost Depot a the front of the campground or to the Settlement where Pioneer Hall and the Boat Launch is located.

Along with heading to all the parks, we took advantage of our Park Hopper+ passes, with Richard playing golf and numerous trips to Blizzard Beach Waterpark. We were lucky enough to squeeze in dinner at Trail’s End before it closed. One of our traditions is to head to Hoop De Doo Review for great entertainment with some hardy food.

We enjoyed hopping from park to park and made it a relaxing mode to enjoy the parks over two weeks. We were not worried about missing anything as we had 10 day passes and could hop for afternoon and evening adventures.

We also had some terrific dining experiences, including Steakhouse 71, Le Cellier, and Monsiuer Paul.

We had an amazing time but now it is time to get back to work (and take a break from eating out). Come back next month as we head to Tennessee.
