July 2022
We arrived in Massachusetts with our new coach in early June and one of our first items on our checklist was to get the RV inspected. Since we have a large RV, we could not just go to any inspection station. We scheduled an appointment at a local Cummins engine truck repair shop, which was only 13 miles away in the next town. What struck us right away was the lack of pruning of tree limbs on “truck roads”. At times we needed to drive on the wrong side of the road to navigate around limbs that were questionable. Even the road into the RV park had limbs which our antennas hit each time we drove in or out of the campground (to pick up diesel, practice driving and exercise the engine for the summer).
Staying at a local familiar location took away any unknowns of the area and allowed us to focus on learning the rig! As Sian is working remotely from the RV, we set up the RV with “Internet on the Go” for internet service, which made it comfortable to work and play in the RV over the summer.
Some friends and family visited us at our seasonal site at Pinewood Lodge in Plymouth. We enjoyed the campground for the family atmosphere and activities they held throughout the summer. Food trucks would be parked near the pavilion at the pond and speciality events included Vintage Weekend, Christmas in July, Halloween Weekend and much more.

We enjoyed our stay at Pinewood Lodge in Plymouth, MA., but I have to admit, we cursed the pine trees that would not let up on dripping sap on the top of our RV. We were cleaning the roof for months.
